SCA Technica, Inc., an 8(a), Veteran-owned SDB, is one of the world's leading experts in SCA radios and compliance. We have experience in developing software defined radio (SDR) products, reference designs and intellectual property and we are a prime contractor for US Government projects to develop high assurance, plug-and-play SDR mobile terminals. SCA Technica has also helped multiple companies, both nationally and internationally, to "SCAize" existing radios and assist with future designs.
Founder: David K Murotake, Ph.D. led researchers from nine companies and universities conducting basic and advanced research in telecommunications and wireless technologies and is the owner and founder of SCA Technica.
Dr. Murotake is an experienced defense systems analyst and architect. He has developed requirements, system specifications, operational concept documents, interface control documents, and system-of-system designs for numerous military data links and C4ISR systems
Dr. Murotake received his Ph.D. from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Management of Technological Innovation, with concentration in Information Technology. He also received the Master’s and Bachelors Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and the Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and Science from MIT. He served five years active duty in the US Army as a Combat Engineer Officer, Tactical Intelligence Officer, and Electronic Warfare Officer. He is a native US citizen and has applied for three US patents.
Software and Security Architect: Antonio Martin has over a dozen year experience in software design and architecture from large scale databases and transaction processing systems, to wireless ad hoc networks and security down to embedded SDR.
Mr. Martin received his Masters from Boston University in Computer Science with a concentration in Security where he received the Distinguished Graduate Award and is the co-chair of the Wireless Innovation Forum's Security Working Group.
